Drag a folder directly from your computer into APTOFI File Sharing. The complete directory structure is recreated automatically.
Files are queued and uploaded into the correct server-side folders. Empty directories are preserved.
- Download and unpack APTOFI File Sharing.
- Run the application as Administrator.
- Select a storage directory, for example D:\FileSharing.
- Configure the administrator account and secret login paths.
- Select LAN, direct Internet access or VPS tunnel mode.
- Press Save and start.
- Open the generated user or administrator URL.
A domain is not required when APTOFI is used only inside a trusted home or office network.
If the server uses local IP 192.168.1.50:
For Internet access, a domain with HTTPS is recommended. APTOFI supports ACME certificate issuance and RFC2136/TSIG DNS updates.
If direct inbound access is unavailable, APTOFI can connect through an external VPS using a reverse SSH tunnel.

Trash is disabled by default. When enabled, deleted files remain recoverable for 30 days and continue consuming real storage quota until permanent deletion.
